The Rocky Mountains offer some of the oldest national parks in the world. While located in the same mountain range, these national parks are not identical in terms of climate, vegetation, wildlife. In fact, if you do a google search with all or some of the keywords “bison”, “sand dunes”, “grizzly bear”, “glacier lakes”, “luxury hotels”, and “top remote locations in North America”, you might get the list of a few national parks in the Rockies. In other words, one key feature that makes Rockies rock is the huge diversity of experiences that they can offer.
